The Micronationalist Union has reached the three members required by the Charter to formally found the organisation. Article I, section 4 of the MU's Charter requires no less than three member states for the MU to function as an entity. The first two member states to join the MU were the Kingdom of Agoga, which took the first steps to create the organisation, and the African Republic. The third member state to apply to join is the Republic of Wisenia, whose application to join was approved earlier today by the first Chair of the MU, Ambassador Yehuda Netzer. Mr. Netzer is the Agogan Ambassador to the MU, he is also the Viceroy of the Kingdom of Agoga. According to the MU Charter, there will be a period of 30 calendar days beginning from the date that a third member state joins before the Assembly meets in session to formally ratify the MU Charter. This 30 day period is to give other micronations time to apply to join before joining requires a formal vote of member states. The 30 day period will expire on 17 March 2023, at which point plans will be made to hold the first Assembly session.
